When I See You I See Sand

...

When I see you I see sand
surge in narrow rivulets
fractal across wasted land
an amiable onset

a gust rises in the east
waves of stones that remember
their dormant glory released
I see you now: a boulder

  1. Great contrast in your projection, "surge in narrow rivulets / fractal across wasted land" and it's followed up by "waves of stones" —a current running throughout where one expects not to find one.

  2. nice...from sand to a boulder...in him you see his home and i think that may be the highest compliment...

  3. The sand, the boulder -- the rivulet and the waves - this flows like the sea, or the desert. Well done.
