Collected Haiku #47
...
stones in river bed
why have you sunk to bottom
when forest surrounds?
...
every dirt trod grave
is another chance at life
as new seeds take hold
...
the sun scorches you
meteor falls, realizes
a phoenix rises
...
artful nereid
my how your jewelry sparkles
and the waves beckon
...
must every lesson
in my conflagration heart
be taught with embers?
...
rain on a parade
nothing to worry about
umbrellas are fun
...
coffee, though enthused,
isn't ordered in size muse
starbucks not amused
...
high school fishbowls spill
into college rivulets
life's rapids surprise
...
if you fall in love
with a fog person, don't fume
when they dissipate
...
